Roblox ignites Egg Hunt rumors with unique eggs sent to creators. Dive into the details fueling the community’s excitement.
Roblox is fanning the rumors of an Egg Hunt event after sending unique eggs to content creators. YouTubers and Twitch streamers have flooded social media with photos of the items they received in the mail, with many saying that it all but confirms that an Egg Hunt event is on the horizon. This is not even the first time in the last week that such rumors have garnered traction online.
Earlier this month the Roblox CEO, David Baszucki, teased their upcoming event in an announcement on X. The post sent the community into a frenzy, with many claiming that it was a hint for an egg-themed event. Now, content creators are fuelling the rumors by sharing photos of the eggs sent by the gaming company.

Popular creator Carbon Meister, who has over half a million subscribers on YouTube, shared a photo of the item he received. And he is not alone. Streamers and creators such as DunkinMud also shared their eggs, with the posts garnering hundreds of thousands of impressions on X.
Reacting to DunkinMud’s post on X, KreekCraft wrote:
“ROBLOX IS SENDING YOUTUBERS EGGS IN THE MAIL. I REPEAT ROBLOX IS SENDING EGGS IN THE MAIL. IT’S FREAKING HAPPENING”
Almost all creators shared a note sent by Roblox in their social media posts.
Roblox’s Note Along With the Eggs
Roblox encouraged the content creators to share the message in the note sent by mail. While the note does not outright explain the purpose of the eggs, it does shed light on what is to come. The gaming company teased that more will be revealed about the upcoming event soon.
Here is the full message included in the notes sent to the creators:
“Curiosity should always be rewarded so we hope you like your gift. You probably have a lot of questions. Don’t worry. You won’t have to wait long to understand what this is all about. Besides, all good things should have surprising elements, and there are plenty more to come. Although we can’t say much now, that doesn’t mean you can’t share what you have received to hatch a conversation. The Roblox community has proven time and time again that when they work together, they can figure anything out.”

What Are Egg Hunts?
Longtime Roblox players will remember the yearly event hosted by the company called Egg Hunt back in the day. The developers hosted this event, spanning multiple experiences on the platform for the first time. We experienced this event in 2008. Items, which were initially unique eggs, were hidden in several games. Some could also be locked behind specific challenges.
Roblox discontinued Egg Hunts in 2020. Since then, they have hosted other events, e.g., Metaverse Champions and The Hunt. The second edition of The Hunt was hosted earlier this year in March and was dubbed The Hunt: Mega.
