Dune Awakening has a ton of areas for you to explore, each of which has gear and crafting components ripe for the taking. Most of these areas are challenging, constantly pushing you to stay sharp and prepared. However, after hours of grinding, the escalating difficulty in these zones can start to yield diminishing returns. This is where the Dune Awakening’s Deep Desert comes into play.
The Deep Desert in Dune Awakening is an endgame PvP area meant for the most hardened of veterans. This area is one of the hardest in the game, and compensates for its difficulty by offering some of the best loot in the game. If you’re looking to acquire state-of-the-art gear, weapons, or crafting resources, this is the place to be. If you’re looking for a place to relax, however, it is not.
The Deep Desert is an overwhelming experience, and if you’re not up for the challenge, it is one you want to escape immediately. However, the game doesn’t really tell you how to leave the Deep Desert. If you’re stuck in this hell, we’re here to walk you out of it. How To Escape the Deep Desert in Dune Awakening

You enter the Deep Desert in Dune Awakening by traveling to the northernmost end of the Eastern Shield Wall. The game then takes you to the World Map, where you can select the Deep Desert as your destination. After a short loading screen, you spawn right into the desert.
If you’re looking to go back, the process is fairly similar. Open your map, and you will see several mountains towards the southern edge of the map. Between each of these mountains, there is a small passageway. This passageway is exactly what you’re looking for.
Travel to any of the multiple passages between the mountains in the south, and pass through them. The game will then immediately pop up a notification, asking you if you wish to travel back to the World Map. Confirm your decision, and you’ll be out of the Deep Desert in no time.
