How to Get the Resonance Stone in BG3? Explained
To get the Resonance Stone in Baldur’s Gate 3 you must reach the Mind Flayer Colony in Act 2, and find the bright, glowing item sitting on a table in a small room just off the Necrotic Laboratory.
From where you enter the Mind Flayer Colony, head straight ahead (west) until you come to a fork and the path turns left and bends down right. Take the right path south, where you will enter the Necrotic Laboratory. There are a lot of enemies in this big room, and you’ll have to defeat them all first. AOE spells such as Fireball will help you out a lot.
After the fight, look to the southwest for a small alcove. You should be able to see the purple Resonance Stone glowing. You’ll have to jump across, and then you can reach the table and claim the Resonance Stone.
Significantly, the Mind Flayer Colony is a location in Act 2 that you can only reach after fighting Ketheric Thorm on the top of Moonrise Towers. Therefore, you will not be able to acquire it early on. You’ll have to advance the main story in order to obtain it.
