How to Get Cloak of the Weave in BG3? Explained
You can get the Cloak of the Weave in Baldur’s Gate 3 by making it to the Lower City in Act 3 and purchasing it from Helsik at the Devil’s Fee. The nearest waypoint to the Devil’s Fee is the Lower City Central Wall. Once you arrive at the waypoint it is a simple walk straight north with a little turn to the right/east and then you’ll find the grand store building quickly on your left.

The store is run by a Gold Dwarf named Helsik. The first time you visit the store, if you head straight into speak with her, you may only find some dyes, potions and a few alchemy ingredients in stock. Helsik doesn’t show just any customer off the street the good stuff! In order to see her full inventory, you’ll need to walk around her shop. There are a handful of interesting items there which should hopefully highlight themselves with a few successful Perception checks. Interact with each and hopefully pass an Arcana check on one to get a hint into the rarity of items in the shop.

Afterwards, when you return to speak with her, there should now be a different dialogue option where you can comment on her wares. Impressed at your knowledge (or just assuming that you must have the coin to back it up) she agrees to let you see all of her stock. You’ll find the Cloak of the Weave now available, and you can purchase it for the reasonable price of 300 gold!

The best way to use the Cloak of the Weave in Baldur’s Gate 3 is by equipping it to a spellcasting class, especially Sorcerers or Wizards. Other melee and magic hybrid classes such as Druids, Clerics, Bards, and Warlocks may also benefit from it.
Unfortunately, there is a known bug that prevents the Absorb Elements reaction from working as it should. However, the +1 bonus to spell attack and spell save DC is still a nice boost to have. And the Cloak armor/equipment slot is less important to builds that others.
